Did you miss this sold out show last June, or want to see it again with new friends? Well, now's your chance! Enjoy the magic of Andrea Marcovicci and Maude Maggart together in Brave and Foolish Thing at The Gardenia in West Hollywood, April 7th at 8:00pm. Special chemistry happens when these two fast friends share a stage!
Songs range in tone from clever to sentimental, from esoteric to arresting, with a healthy dose of double entendre included. If you prefer your cabaret to be witty, intriguing, emotional, and a little bit naughty, then head out to The Gardenia and soak up the adventure of Brave and Foolish Thing! Fans of Andrea’s classic CD, New Words will recognize three songs covered in this show – David Israel & Tom Toce’s Brave & Foolish Thing, Maury Yeston’s New Words, and Philip Namanworth’s Avoid. Brave and Foolish Thing deals with love and loss from both unusual perspectives and classic feelings of tenderness. It promises to be a little bit different, yet warmly familiar. Expect to smile, laugh, be comforted, and be surprised. Guess what? This is the kick-off of Andrea & Maude MONTHLY!!
That's a show the first Sunday of every month through December 2024. More INFO to come! |

Private CoachingFor over twenty years, Andrea has been known throughout the country, as a compassionate and astute teacher of the art form that she so dearly loves.
Here's what one student had to say: "With an open heart and a brilliant mind, Ms. Marcovicci gives her students an extraordinary opportunity to learn 'up close and personal' from one of the finest cabaret artists of her generation. It is a priceless gift for anyone with a serious interest in the genre." Vertical Divider
