An Irving Berlin Evening
“Stepping out with my baby…”
Andrea and Maude each dazzled with sold-out Irving Berlin shows. Now, these two blend their unique love of the beloved composer to display a brand new passion for one of their favorite songwriters. The great composer, Jerome Kern, famously said, “Irving Berlin has no place in American music. He IS American music.” Berlin’s work spans the breath of America as far as the eye can see, penning anthems, love songs, theatre songs, and tin pan alley hits. Beyond the beauty of Berlin's melodies, lies his genius for delectable lyrics often filled with romance and gentle humor. This is the show for lovers of the American popular song! |
