He IS American music.” Berlin’s work spans the breath of America as far as the eye can see, penning anthems, love songs, theatre songs, and tin pan alley hits. Andrea’s most requested show, (originally recorded at The Gardenia) has been reinvented!
This new version takes the audience on a journey when America’s greatest writers of the classic American Songbook, (Sammy Cahn, Oscar Hammerstein, Jerome Kern, Frank Loesser, Johnny Mercer, Jule Styne, and more), captured feelings of love and loss under a canopy of war. Although the show concentrates on love, it’s not without humor as Andrea and Maude uncover multiple ways to find laughter in some wild double-entendre lyrics and retro numbers of the time. A pleasing mix of moving, swinging, witty, and nostalgic songs that will stay with you long after the evening has ended! A Jerry Herman Evening
For the first time ever, Andrea dives into the magical world of the great composer/lyricist, Jerry Herman. Partnering with the supremely talented, (Jerry Herman aficionado), Jason Graae, this never-before-seen show promises smiles from start to finish.
A Grammy and multi-Tony-award-winner, Herman is the creator of classic and beloved Broadway musicals like “Hello, Dolly”, “Mame,” and “La Cage Aux Folles.” Herman’s melodies, ever so enchanting, are matched only by the intellect he displays supplying lyrics which capture nuance, humor, unexpected rhymes, and sweet refrains. Sparks will fly as Andrea and Jason delight in the heartwarming music of one of Broadway’s greatest composer/lyricists. The film, by Henry Alex Rubin and Jeremy Workman, has an 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. Andrea is interviewed alongside Candice Bergen, Dennis Hopper, Karen Black, Milos Forman, Louis Malle, Martha Plimpton, Sally Kellerman, Peter Bogdanovich, Bob Rafelson, John Landis, and Orson Welles. The film premiered on PBS's documentary series POV. Jaglom is known for quirky, low-budget, stream-of-consciousness movies - often about loneliness and relationships. Andrea appeared in two of Jaglom's features. "Someone to Love" and "Irene in Time." |

Streaming shows premiered Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day, with Brad Ellis, on virtual piano. Shows were available to stream for one week only. The live show played The Gardenia in Los Angeles in September of 2021. All three shows have raised over $9000 for Entertainment Community Fund (Formally The Actors Fund).
Andrea is truly touched by the generosity of her fans and proud to contribute to this worthy cause.
